Adding Expense Categories

    Select Categories → Expense Categories in the left vertical menu.
  • If the menu is not visible, click the menu icon in the top-left corner.
  • In the mobile app, tap the menu icon in the top-left corner, then select Expense Categories.
    Click the plus (+) icon next to the expense category group where you want to add the new category.
    Enter the name of the expense category, then click Add.

Tip: You can use emojis in category and category group names.
To add emojis, use your operating system’s emoji picker shortcuts:
Windows: Win + . (Windows key + period)
macOS: Ctrl + Cmd + Space
Start the category or category group name with an emoji, followed by a space, then enter the name (for example: Hamburger Food).
