Searching / Filtering Transactions

Turning On Filtering

    Select My Finances → Transactions in the left vertical menu.
  • If the menu is not visible, click the menu icon in the top-left corner.
  • In the mobile app, tap Transactions in the bottom toolbar.
    Click Filter Transactions next to the Add Transaction button.
  • In the mobile app, tap the funnel icon in the top toolbar.
    The Filter Transactions dialog will appear. Adjust the fields based on what you want to filter.
    Click Apply Filter.
    Only the transactions that meet your criteria will be shown in the list.


The Filter Transactions Dialog

In the Filter Transactions dialog, you can set the following fields:
Start Date / End Date:
  • Click the date fields to set the earliest and latest dates of the transactions you want to see.
Transaction Type:
  • Select which transaction types you want to see in the list: All, Expense, Income, or Transfer.
Vendor / Payer:
  • Enter the vendor or payer name you want to search for.
From Account / To Account:
  • Select the account(s) used in the transactions.
Expense Category Group / Expense Category:
  • Select an Expense Category Group, or both an Expense Category Group and Expense Category, to filter expense transactions.
  • These fields are available only when Expense is selected as the transaction type.
Income Category Group / Income Category:
  • Select an Income Category Group, or both an Income Category Group and Income Category, to filter income transactions.
  • These fields are available only when Income is selected as the transaction type.
Notes:
  • Enter text to search for in transaction notes.
Important:If you select more than one criterion, only transactions that match all selected criteria will appear in the list.


Turning Filtering Off

    To remove the filter, click Clear Filter.
  • In the mobile app, tap the Clear Filter icon in the top toolbar.


Editing the Filter

    Click Filter Transactions next to the Add Transaction button.
  • In the mobile app, tap the funnel icon in the top toolbar.
    The Filter Transactions dialog will open with the previously selected fields. Update them as needed.
    Click Apply Filter.
    The transaction list will be updated based on your new criteria.
